Digital Marketing & Content Creation Specialist

We seek a motivated and creative Digital Marketing & Content Creation Specialist. This role involves coordinating digital marketing campaigns, designing and creating engaging social media content, contributing to graphic design and animation projects, and handling photography content creation. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, with a good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and essential experience in web design using Elementor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the digital marketing and content creation field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Digital Marketing Support:

  •    Assist in implementing digital marketing strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

  •    Help coordinate and schedule social media content, promotions, and email campaigns.

  •    Track and report on digital marketing performance, providing insights to improve future campaigns.

  •    Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency across all channels.

 

2. Social Media Coordination:

  •    Create and schedule engaging content for social media, ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar.

  •    Monitor social media platforms, responding to comments and messages.

  •    Assist in growing the brand's online presence by researching social media trends and suggesting new strategies.

 

3. Graphic Design:

  •    Design simple graphics for digital use, such as social media posts, email banners, and web graphics.

  •    Support the team with branding and visual identity projects.

  •    Ensure all designs adhere to the company's brand guidelines and aesthetics.

 

4. Photography Content Creation:

  • Assist in planning and executing photography sessions for product, social media, and campaign content.

  • Edit and optimise photos across digital platforms, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing images.

  • Collaborate with the team to create visually cohesive content aligned with the brand identity.

 

5. Animation and Video Editing:

  •    Assist with creating basic animations and editing videos for promotional use.

  •    Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to produce short video clips for social media and digital campaigns.

 

6. Web Design Support Using Elementor:

  •    Assist in updating and maintaining websites built on Elementor for WordPress.

  •    Help optimise websites for mobile responsiveness and SEO.

 

7. Project Management Support:

  •  Use ClickUp to help manage tasks and deadlines for marketing and design projects.

  •   Ensure project updates and deadlines are communicated clearly to the team.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

  • Diploma in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.

  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, graphic design, and photography content creation (internship experience is acceptable).

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).

  • Essential experience with Elementor for WordPress web design.

  • Basic photography skills, including image editing.

  • A keen interest in digital marketing and a willingness to learn.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

  • A driving licence and reliable own transport (Our office is not served by public
    transport.)

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.

  • Experience with video editing and animation.

  • Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp or similar.

  • A basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus but optional.
